A business meeting of local entrepreneurs with representatives of China was held at the Altai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the press service of the CCI reports.

A delegation from Manchuria arrived in Barnaul to establish business contacts and negotiate with agricultural enterprises of the region.

“At the meeting in the Altai CCI, special attention was paid to the economic relations between the regions of the two countries, in particular, the prospects for cooperation in the field of agriculture. Representatives of the Chinese delegation discussed with the heads of Altai companies the possibility of supplying wheat, flax, sunflower, oats, buckwheat to Manchuria, and also noted the interest of the Chinese side in the joint cultivation of rapeseed and other crops,” the message says.

As a result, the parties signed a protocol of intent between the Altai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the government of Manchuria in the field of agricultural production, trade in agricultural products and equipment.

In addition, a protocol of intent was signed between LLC TD Hermes and the Manchurian export-import company with limited liability for grain and oilseeds Hengshen.
