Gorodetsky: Sowing campaign will be carried out as planned

Agricultural producers of the Novosibirsk region are fully prepared for spring field work. Governor Vladimir Gorodetsky announced this.

“I am convinced that this year the sowing campaign will be carried out in the planned volume in the optimal agro-technological terms,” the head of the region said on Tuesday, April 12. Gorodetsky recalled that farmers are receiving material support. 770 million were allocated from the regional budget for spring field work, another 800 million were allocated from the federal budget. As noted in the government of the Novosibirsk region, this will allow the peasants of the region to cover 40% of the need for financial resources to carry out a complex of spring field work. The total sown area in 2016 will be more than 2.3 million hectares, which is approximately the same as in 2015. The technical readiness of agricultural machinery, as of April 1, is 88.6%, the availability of diesel fuel - 63.6%, gasoline - 63.1%.
